Chapter 14: Reconciliation Again???

while driving on her way home, suddenly her car stopped in the middle of the road. she get off her car and as she release her anger, she kick the tire of her car so badly. she was still crying and very unlucky of her that the car stopped in the middle of the road.

he followed her even though he's still mad at her, they dont even know when they will stop this charade... they're always pretending but actually eversince they got married, their fighting and arguing got even worst. something inside that makes him more felt guilty, he admit the fact that he change eversince he got married... but he knows that he's still the person whom Femy and Ruan met before. Femy told him to follow his wife, even though he dont want to. but something inside him keep pushing him to follow his wife and so he did.

just to realize, its getting dark already. Rissa was trying to get hitch with some other's car. she wanted to hitch with a family car or a woman... but there's none. there's a group of boys who wanted her to hitch on their car, she refuse... the car stop and the guy was forcing Rissa to come with them.

Rissa: its ok... i dont want to. (then the guy hold her hand and pulling her to get inside of the car.) let me go!
Rude Guy 1: miss, im offering you already to come with us... but why are you still refusing.
Rissa: you're not offering, you're forcing me! i said i dont want to... so let me go!

he finally saw her car.... but someone's pulling on Rissa, so he hurriedly stop the car where Rissa's car parked it. then he saw a group of guys inside the other car and the guy who was pulling and harassing his wife.

Ney: let go of my WIFE!

the rude guy let go of Rissa's hand and push her away when somebody butt in, then the other guys get out of the car. Ney hurriedly help out Rissa.

Rude Guy 1: so you're acting like a super hero, boy! (pushing him away) c'mon! (asking for a fight)
Ney: mmmm... im not here for a fight, i just want you let go of MY WIFE...
Rude Guy 2: you!?! her husband??? dont trick on me... you're just here to butt in!
Ney: im not! she is my wife...
Rude Guy 3: well then, why dont you prove that she's really your wife! you have to face us first!
Ney: im sorry... but i really dont wanna fight with you guys.... (while he was trying to help her to get up, he whispered) let's go...

the 'Rude Guy 1' took out to his pocket his swiss knife and attempted to stab him, but Rissa saw it and shouted at Ney that the guy was attempting to stab him. when the guy was about to stab him, Ney hold out of the heel of the knife with all his force. he could feel the edge of the knife buried along with his palm, trying to resist the pain... Rissa saw that Ney's hand were all in blood. while trying to resist it, he began to kick the rude man and give what they want.

its been a long time since he havent encounter a fight like this. he learned so many self-defense from 'with weapons' to 'without weapons', learning thai boxing when he was in high school was not enough... he wanted to learn more and so he did try taekwondo, karate and such as kung fu. since he came from a noble family, he also did try on how to hold and shoot a gun... sword fencing with his fellow foreign friends when he visits outside the country.

he ended the fight giving the 'rude guy 3' a smash kick. the guys were sorry because of what they have done and even had the guts to fight with him. as far as Ney was concern, he dont want to end the trouble with a fight... but if they really ask for it, he'll give what they really want.


Rissa saw everything, from how Ney protect her from the other guys. she'd already encounter this kind of situation for how many times already with her past boyfriends, but never she did saw like this before. she could still remember that her last boyfriend, did saw him to compensate the group of bad guys just so they could stay out of trouble. she never saw from her past boyfriends before like what Ney did, he was trying to protect her. when he's already finishing his lessons with the group of boys, he look at her... then she look at him, noticing he was sweating so badly after the fight.

Ney: are you alright? (he was tearing his shirt to use it as a bandage for his hand)
Rissa: yeah... (she answered timidly)
Ney: let's go...

she didnt say anything at all, she just followed him until she got inside from his car. they were quiet as like before, Ney was concentrating on his driving. she wanted to say thank you for saving and protecting her, but she rather keep silent. she was looking at his right hand that he bandage of his teared shirt. she knows that while he was driving, he's only enduring the pain. the steering wheel has blood stains already, she's worried and she could only see his face like he's only enduring it.

Rissa: where are we going?
Ney: i'll drop you by at the mansion...
Rissa: huh? can...can we go first to nearest hospital here?
Ney: why?
Rissa: what do you mean 'why'? you got injured, isnt that suppose to be our first priority that we have to-
Ney: are you gonna argue with me again??? (Rissa suddenly felt quiet... then he realize that his wife is just concern only) dont worry, im fine. i dont need to get in the hospital just for this... (referring to his wound)

*a moment of silence*


while driving, Rissa was looking at the other view... it was already night. while Rissa was looking at the other side, Ney suddenly stop the car. then Rissa look at him.

Rissa: what happen? (she knew that Ney stop the car but she wanted to know why...)
Ney: im sorry... (he was not looking at her but he suddenly said those words to her that it made her surprise to hear and was wondering why he was sorry)
Rissa: for what?
Ney: for what happened awhile ago... i didnt have to said those harsh words on you. (then he look at her with sincere...)
Rissa: (she wanted to say sorry too but she decided not to for she was caught in the moment by his eyes... he really meant what he said) i forgive you...

for the first time she never saw a smile like Ney just did, he was please and finally they reconcile from what was just happened awhile ago. they decided to go back to the hotel and decided to go back tomorrow to their home. before they could go back to the hotel room, they went to buy some medicine at the pharmacy for Ney's wound.

inside the hotel room, Ney was only respecting her... and decided what's good for them. transferring his pillow and blanket to the sofa while Rissa took a shower, after that Ney took a shower and Rissa already notice that Ney transfer the pillow and blanket already to the sofa. she didnt say anything at all, it means that Ney really insist to sleep over there on the sofa. while she was waiting for Ney, she prepared the medicines for his wound.

after he took a shower, she saw him wearing a boxer short only (HALF-NAKED). she cleared her throat while looking at him, he sat on the sofa and was ready to sleep. but Rissa get the medicine and insisted herself to apply the medicine for him.

Rissa: thank you... (while putting the medicine on him)... for saving me.
Ney: it was nothing...

while putting the medicine on his palm, she was controlling herself over him; infront of her is his barenaked hard chest, his abs and his..... BOXER SHORTS. curiosity troubling her mind what's inside of his very own boxer shorts, but she was out her mind already... thinking so naughty. she was drooling all over secretly because of his scent again, she wanted his scent so much.

Rissa: your mom told me that you're really good in self-defensing... im really surprise when i saw what you did with those guys, but thanks for saving me.
Ney: there are still a lot of things that you didnt know about me... i may be a DORK to you... but i know how to defend myself too.
Rissa: (she wanted to explain why she was calling him a "dork" but she right after she bandage the wound, she get up already) there, finish...
Ney: thanks (he smiled at her... then he lay down already.)

she took a deep breathe and sigh while looking at him. she admit to herself that she's already FALLING for him, she realized that before when they were both quiet inside the car awhile ago. if she could ever find a man, she wanted someone who could protect her... cared for her like what he did to her when she got wounded. she wanted to get know him more, since it keeps repeating to her mind of what he said "there are still a lot of things that you didnt know about me"... but she want him to get know her too, she wanted him to understand her and....... wanted him to FALL for her.

she turned off the lights, as she went to the bed and they both said "goodnight..." to each other.
